Steve Stacy Roofing is only interested in hiring professional employees. We are the leading full-service roofing company in the area, and we seek roofing repair technicians that would like to advance their career.

We appreciate all interested parties, however we DO NOT have time to train the basics. Real experience is required. You will be asked a series of test questions during interview.

Qualifications and Skills

Must have 5 years experience as a Roofing Service Technician
Reliable work ethic and attention to details
Solid understanding of the residential roofing industry (commercial experience not required, but beneficial)
Effective communication skills to deal with clients and co-workers
Ability to follow company policies and procedures
Knowledge of thorough roof repair techniques
General troubleshooting as related to roofing repair work
Knowledge and understanding of all safety procedures when working on a roof

Primary Job Duties:

Roofing Repair Technicians - including, but not limited to

Diagnose and solve roofing system issues
Ability to remove and replace asphalt shingles, single ply membrane, tile, shake and ventilation
Minor carpentry work associated with various roof systems and skylight installation
Masonry skills are a plus!
Strong customer service skills
Measure, estimate, suggest and complete roofing repairs/maintenance
Always explain to the client what their roofing needs are and the reason for the recommendations to provide potential clients the best option for their needs
At all times, must be safety-conscious on both the job site and while driving in accordance with company policy
Always take care of potential clients' time and property, which includes wearing shoe covers while in the clients home
Maintain the company vehicle in accordance to cleanliness and mechanical standards
