About Us, the Steve Stacy Roofing Story
Steve Stacy Roofing was founded on a vision and a leap of faith.
Starting in Florida, Steve has been in the roofing industry since he was a young man. When he married his wife Char and they started their family with their daughter, Emily, he realized he needed more to provide for them. Steve worked every day of the week under another roofing company, then started taking on separate roofing jobs on the weekends. Those weekend jobs brought him all the way up to Blue Ridge, Georgia. So, every Friday he would get out of work, load up his family, travel 6+ hours to Blue Ridge, and he would work all day Saturday and Sunday, then take his family back down to Florida for work on Monday.
After welcoming their first son, Steven, into the world and realizing there was a need for a roofing contractor in the North Georgia Mountains. Steve and Char made the leap to move their family to Blue Ridge and start their own business. Working overtime for years out of their house, their business grew more than they could’ve imagined. They welcomed their second son, Chance, into the world and shortly after opened their office and warehouse, to which their business flourished even more.
Eventually, Char was able to step away from the business and follow her dreams of becoming a realtor. All the kids have successfully worked in the family business under Steve over the years; and Steve’s oldest son, Steven, has since made the decision to stay and aspires to carry on his dad’s legacy one day.
Currently Steve Stacy Roofing is run by Steve himself, with his son Steven following in his footsteps; where they have just moved into a bigger office and warehouse space, due to the growing business.

One thing about us is that we look forward to our legendary ugly sweater Christmas party. It's a special time for our staff members and local partners to gather for a great meal, share some laughs, exchange gifts and celebrate our successes together. This party reflects our value of fostering strong relationships with our team and partners, and it's always a highlight of the year. You can always count on seeing some truly outrageous sweaters and some fierce competition for the ugliest one.
